We wanted to turn the data stack status quo into a relic of the past, so we built Summer. We combined all the key data tooling into a single platform, single bill, and single decision.
Consolidating your data stack into one product lets you:
Our platform has three primary areas: Connectors, Warehouse, and Workspace.
Connectors bring your source data into our warehouse. They run on a predefined schedule to keep your data up to date.
We support a growing number of Connectors with the goal of allowing you to bring in all of your company’s data. The more complete your data is in Summer, the more useful the platform is.
Each Connector has a slightly different configuration. See our Connector Guide for a quick guide on how they are set up.
The Warehouse is where we securely store, catalog, and query your data. In the Warehouse, you can manage who on your team has access to which Table or Dataset.
The Warehouse “just works”, so you don’t need to worry about configuring instance sizes or deployments. We’ve built the Warehouse to scale to the needs of each Query. You only pay for the data your Query scans, see our Pricing page for more info.
The Workspace is the interface to your data. You can write Queries, create Charts, and build Dashboards. Every part is built to be worked on collaboratively with your team. Just like the Warehouse, you can manage access to all your analyses with both internal team members and external partners.
In the Workspace, you can also work with Summer AI to help you analyze and visualize your data. Whether you’re a SQL expert or not, exploring your data is a pleasure.
Here are some quick guides for your Workspace,
We are working to add additional functionality in AI, Cataloging, Transformations, and more. Stay tuned!
