Product Designer

TLDR;

We are on the search for a full-time Product Designer who can own the design of the Summer’s end-to-end data stack as we evolve with new customers and emerging technologies.

About the Role

As a Product Designer at Summer, you will lead the design of how people interact with our application. Using a deep understanding of our customers and their needs, you’ll create elegant and easy components that make data a pleasure. You will be supported by an incredible engineering team who embrace the magic of paired design and engineering (one of our core values).

When you join, you’ll jump straight into designing novel data experiences that highlight our unique capabilities and technology. Everything we do is toward the goal of making data a pleasure and the team will do everything to support your vision for design’s role in achieving this goal.

You’re the perfect candidate for this role if:

• You are interested in complex design problems, specifically in the design of data applications.
• You love working with customers to discover new needs and get feedback on how they are using the product.
• You thrive in an environment where you’re working alongside a multi-discipline team to grow a product through iteration of new innovative ideas.
• You have an ownership mentality and have experience defining design’s operations and being a champion of design within the team
